The Story Behind This Kota Saree
This saree is handwoven in Kota, Rajasthan – a city famous for its unique cotton-silk weave. Unlike machine-made copies, this authentic Kota saree carries the traditional khat (checkered) pattern that makes Kota fabric instantly recognisable.
Each saree takes 3-4 days to weave on a handloom. The weaver family we work with has been doing this for three generations.
